Segment : HL - Hierarchical Level
Mandatory/Optional: Mandatory
Purpose : To identify dependencies among and the content of hierarchically related groups of data segments
Level : Shipment or Item
Max Usage/Loops : 1/200,000 per ship notice
General Info : The HL segment is used to identify levels of detail information using a hierarchical structure, such as relating line item detail to shipment detail. The initial HL segment must have an ID of "S". You must have an item level HL. The order level HL is optional.
