Phase I Test Procedure
Communications Session
VAN Communications

Procedure

  1. Set up an interconnect from your VAN to Advantis Network. Our DUNS # is 006414361. Our Advantis account is ARVN. Our Advantis user ID is ARVN005. We dial and connect with Advantis several times each day.

To Test Send Procedure

  1. For the purposes of this test, simply send a test 856 message to the ArvinMeritor   mailbox on Advantis.
  2. Notify Rex Johnson by telephone the day of the test. He will be able to acknowledge the test results, normally on the same day as the test.

To Test Receive Procedure

  1. Notify Rex Johnson of your readiness to receive a test file. An acknowledgement can be created for your 856 and be placed in your network mailbox. Let Rex know ahead of the 856 test if you can and would like to receive the 824 via EDI. I can also send a test 830 Planning Releases transaction for you to test the receive process.
  2. Notify Rex Johnson at ArvinMeritor, Inc. of the results.

Estimated time to complete testing once hardware / software installation is complete - 2-4 hours.
