Phase I Test Procedure
Communications Session
Direct Connect Communications

Procedure

1. Refer to the ArvinMeritor  Supplier EDI Project Communications Methods, which is included with this document for the communications requirements.
2. Call Rex Johnson at ArvinMeritor  (812) 379-3689 to be assigned a Mailbox ID and a Password for the ArvinMeritor Data Communications System (ADCS).
3. Refer to ArvinMeritor  Supplier Data Communications Guide for instructions on the commands required to send and receive data from ArvinMeritor .

To Test Send Procedure

1. For the purposes of this test, simply add a test 856 (ASN) to the ADCS mailbox. Make sure the test indicator is a "T" in the ISA segment.
2. Notify Rex Johnson by telephone the day of the test. He will be able to immediately acknowledge the test results.

To Test Receive Procedure

1. Notify Rex Johnson of your readiness to receive a test file. A text message will be placed in your mailbox for you to retrieve. I can also send a test 830 transaction.
2. Upon successful retrieval of the test file, notify Rex Johnson at ArvinMeritor, Inc.,

Estimated time to complete testing once hardware / software installation is complete - 2-4 hours.
