Phase II Test Procedure
Send a Test ASN (856) Session

Procedure

1. Create a test ASN data set. You can use your own data, preferably taking advantage of a real ArvinMeritor  shipment for test data to use. Refer to the ArvinMeritor  Implementation Guideline to the Advance Shipment Notification (ASN- 856).
2. Transmit the test ASN data to ArvinMeritor  using the procedure which was verified in Phase I of the test process (Direct or VAN).
3. A fax report of the test results will be computer generated and returned to the supplier within 5 minutes of ArvinMeritor  processing the ASN data.
4. Compare the results of the test with Rex Johnson at ArvinMeritor  ((812) 379-3689 and make necessary adjustments to data.
5. When ArvinMeritor  has verified the ASN accuracy to standard, your company can be set to production status for the ASN. (A Trading Partner Agreement will be required prior to production status - See Phase V).
