Error Messages

Message: ***ERROR*** NO BATCHES FOR TRANSMISSION
Meaning: A data transmission with a $$REQ record was requested, but data was not available to send. A batch file either does not exist or is not available for data transmission to the supplier. If a single batch was requested, use the $$DIR output to check the identification and status of the particular batch.

Message: ***ERROR*** DATA COLLECTION REJECTED. TRY AGAIN LATER.
Meaning: A temporary busy condition was encountered at the host site. Retry the data collection ($$ADD) at a later time.

Message: ***ERROR*** DATA COLLECTION ABORTED. TRY AGAIN LATER.
Meaning: An error condition at the host or on the line caused a data collection in progress to fail. The partial data batch is ignored and must be re-transmitted again.

Message: ***ERROR***
Meaning: An unidentifiable error occurred at the host. Verify that the input data is correct, and retry the data transmission again.

Message: ***ERROR*** $$LOGON IS MISSING OR INVALID
Meaning: The $$LOGON command was not sent or is invalid. The remainder of the transmission is ignored.

Message: ***ERROR*** $$LOGON ID IS MISSING
Meaning: The supplier's Remote ID required in the $$LOGON command is missing. The remainder of the transmission is ignored.

Message: ***ERROR*** CURRENT PASSWORD IS INVALID
Meaning: The supplier's current password required in the $$LOGON command is invalid. The remainder of the transmission is ignored.

Message: ***ERROR*** NEW PASSWORD IS INVALID
Meaning: The supplier's new password in the $$LOGON command is invalid. The remainder of the transmission is ignored.

Message: ***ERROR*** $$ADD IS MISSING OR INVALID
Meaning: The $$ADD command required before the supplier's data is missing or invalid.

Message: ***ERROR*** BID IS MISSING OR INVALID
Meaning: The BID field in the $$ADD command is missing or invalid.
